Senior Architectural Visualization Artist

Scott Edwards Architecture is seeking a Senior Architectural Visualization Artist to join our staff.

For the position of Architectural Visualization Artist, we are seeking a candidate who possesses creative and technical skills for full-time employment (40 hours/week). The ideal candidate will be motivated, dependable, and willing to make a long-term commitment to working in this position. They will lead our Design Support Staff with leadership team members and have the following responsibilities:

  • Create high quality exterior and interior renderings for a variety of building typologies.

  • Create diagrammatic drawings to assist design teams in conveying their design concepts.

  • Provide visualization software training for junior Design Support staff.

  • Work with SEA Design Leadership to streamline office visualization processes.

  • Work with Marketing to ensure firm wide goals and unique project stories are accurately conveyed in all Design Support deliverables.

The ideal candidate will be creative, motivated, and dependable. Candidate must possess:

  • Expert knowledge and experience in Lumion, VRay or similar.

  • Minimum 3 years of visualization specific experience or similar.

  • The ability to work with a wide variety of designers and willingness to create imagery that is representative of the team’s design intent.

  • Strong graphic skills and flexibility in rendering styles.

  • Strong site modeling skills and ability to edit architectural models (Revit, SketchUp, and Rhino).

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), and SketchUp.

  • A higher-level/ architectural degree is preferred.
