Architectural Designer

The selected individual will join our Architectural Design Support team and will obtain exposure to multiple project typologies and workflows through a combination of graphic and project-based work. This position will allow a junior designer to contribute to a wide range of projects in a short period of time allowing them to discover what interests them most in professional practice.

For the position of Architectural Design Support, we are seeking a candidate possessing a strong graphic portfolio and creative design skills for full-time employment. Technical software training will also be provided in the first few weeks for select programs.

The ideal candidate will be creative, motivated, and dependable. Candidate must possess

  • An Architectural degree.

  • Less than 3 years of experience.

  • Strong design skills. Ability to quickly take schematic design concepts, build on the idea, and create model concepts in collaboration with the lead designer. (Requires SketchUp, Revit, and/or Rhino proficiency.)

  • Strong graphic and rendering skills with a commitment to high quality design – Please see website for graphic quality and precedent.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), SketchUp and/ or Rhino. Please indicate in your cover letter or resume all rendering programs you are proficient in. Note: SEA uses Enscape and Lumion; however, training will be provided for both.
