Junior Interior Designer

For the position of Junior Interior Designer, we are seeking a candidate with strong design and technical skills, augmented by a proven ability to take a project through all levels of development and communicate professionally and effectively with our clients.
Only resumes supporting the following qualifications and experience will be considered:
Interior Design or Interior Architecture degree
1-4 years professional experience in design and construction document production
Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), SketchUp required. Hand sketching is a plus
Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and consultants, while being mindful of project budgets and schedules
Interest and general knowledge of Sustainability, Building Codes, and designing for accessibility (ANSI)
Basic documentation experience for Floor Plans, RCPs, Elevations, and Section details
Organizational skills to directly coordinate with materials library and products
Coordinate with product representative vendors for library maintenance and internal updates
General knowledge of Construction administration
General knowledge with specifying and assembling FF&E bid packages, purchasing, field verification and installation of FF&E preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with current interior products, finishes, and lighting
Ability in Programming & Research for a variety of project types that include branding and style precedents, community outreach, space studies, and conscientious budget review
