Interior Designer
Scott Edwards Architecture is seeking an Interior Designer to join our firm.

For the position of Interior Designer, we are seeking a candidate possessing technical precision and creative design skills to work full-time. This candidate will be passionate about design, motivated, dependable, and willing to make a long-term commitment to working in this position. A willingness to commit some amount of time to the design community and business development outreach would also be desirable.
Only resumes supporting the following qualifications and experience will be considered:
Interior Design or Interior Architecture degree
6-8 years minimum professional experience in design and construction documents
High degree of proficiency in interior detailing and/or design required
Strong technical and design skills in the production of construction documents with a commitment to high quality design
Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and consultants, while being mindful of project budgets and schedules
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with client presentations, which include in-person and on-line presentations for approval of design concepts and execution of deliverables
Construction Administration experience including schedules & change orders, attending regular site meetings, RFI responses, submittal and shop drawing reviews
Self sufficient in Programming & Research methods for a variety of project types that include branding and style precedents, community outreach, space studies, and conscientious budget review
Ability to utilize sustainability, health, and human centric design strategies in projects. WELL and LEED certification is a plus
