Healthcare Project Architect/Designer

Scott Edwards Architecture is seeking a Healthcare Project Architect/Designer to join our Health and Wellness studio. The Health and Wellness studio designs the full spectrum of outpatient and inpatient environments.  Projects range in size and type and include both new construction and tenant improvements. For this role we are seeking a self-directed, collaborative, client-focused candidate to design, document and administer highly functional, durable and inspirational spaces.

This studio is passionate about the work they do, and it shows in the care taken with and precision of resulting designs. Health and wellness serve a vital role in our communities and SEA takes great pride in our contributions to these places—from community health centers to hospital expansions, we have had a hand in many exciting and impactful designs. Candidates who are considering applying for the role of Healthcare Project Architect/Designer can expect to be a part of complex and meaningful work.

Resumes supporting the following qualifications and experience will be considered:

  • • Architectural degree from an accredited school

    • Minimum of 6 years of professional experience

    • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience with healthcare projects

    • Exposure to projects pursuing state required licensure

    • Familiarity with ADA, OARs, NFPA & FGI for Healthcare

    • Proficiency in Revit is required with skill in Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp preferred

Candidates with more extensive healthcare experience will be compensated accordingly.
