The Mary Ann
The Mary Ann is a new affordable housing project in Old Town Beaverton, being built in collaboration with REACH Community Development.
Details
At 72,000 square feet, the building features 25 one-bedroom units, 26 two-bedroom units, and 3 three-bedroom units for those making less than 60% of the median family income.
Keeping with REACH’s commitment to “create quality affordable housing and opportunities for individuals, families, and communities to thrive,” S|EA designed a building that is indistinguishable from market-rate apartments. Residential amenities include 39 secured parking stalls, a fitness center, a community room, and a play area within the interior courtyard. REACH believes affordable housing goes beyond the cost of rent; as a result, S|EA is working to obtain Earth Advantage Certification. Units are designed to optimize natural lighting available from each elevation and feature eco-friendly appliances and fixtures.
