Innovative Composite Engineering
ICE and S|EA worked together to create a brand for this emerging high tech carbon fiber company by designing its headquarters office and manufacturing plant to reflect fresh and inspired thinking.
Details
The 62,000 sf pre-engineered steel building, located on a 10-acre site, was positioned to minimize destruction of native vegetation. Demonstrating use of carbon fiber in various construction applications, the building includes cantilevered carbon fiber stair treads and lobby seating. Manufacturing areas are precisely climate controlled, to vary throughout production from frozen raw material to "baking" of final components.
