Driftwood Public Library
As part of a major renovation and expansion to the City Hall complex in Lincoln City, Oregon, the Driftwood Public Library is seen as the civic hub of this coastal town.
Details
The 23,500 sf linear floor plan was designed with a central interior street where visitors have access to Internet stations, reading rooms, reading parlor, community conference center, and expanded library collection and resource areas. The renovation improved overall finishes, provides energy efficient lighting, and includes as its centerpiece, a new children’s library and community room, including a dedicated room for the Friends of the Library Bookstore.
