The remodel of the Castle Medical Center includes the removal of the existing office building storefront and exterior wall system, and includes the installation of a new insulting curtainwall system, eliminating water intrusion and substantially improving buildings thermal performance. Renovations to the interior include new finishes throughout all public spaces. It also provides a new opening through the second floor to create a two-story lobby space to integrate first and second tenant spaces, and brighten up interior space with natural light. The building will also become significantly more efficient with the all new mechanical and electrical systems, and a new roofing system that significantly reduces solar gain. Finally, the demolition and construction of a new 4.5 story parking building doubled current capacity.
