The remodel of the Castle Medical Center building will include the removal of the existing office building storefront and exterior wall system, and include the installation of a new insulting curtainwall system, eliminating water intrusion and substantially improving buildings thermal performance. Renovations to the interior will include new finishes throughout all public spaces. It will also provide a new opening through the second floor to create a two-story lobby space to integrate first and second tenant spaces, brightening up interior space with natural light. The building will also become significantly more efficient with the all new mechanical and electrical systems, and a new roofing system that significantly reduces solar gain. A wjp;e-building sprinkler system will also be introduced. Finally, the demolition and construction of a new 4 1/2 story parking building will double current capacity.
